Tajik government intends to hold inflation rate at 7.5 pct in 2015


Avesta.Tj | 20.01.2015 |Tajikistan’s government plans to hold the inflation rate at 7.5 percent this year, Abdujabbor Shirinov, the head of Tajik central bank, said at a press conference here on Tuesday.

According to him, the year-end inflation in 2014 stood at 7.4 percent, which was 3.7 percent higher than in 2013,” Tajik central bank head noted.

Shirinov noted that the end-year inflation in 2013 stood at 3.7 percent in Tajikistan, which was the lowest inflation rate among Central Asia’s countries.
