2nd session of Tajikistan-Moldova Economic Commission held in Dushanbe


Avesta.Tj | 30.06.2015 |The second meeting of the Tajikistan-Moldova intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation was held here in the Tajik capital on Tuesday.

The Moldovan delegation was led by the Deputy Minister of Economy Tudor Kopchak while the Tajik delegation was led by Chairman of the State Committee on Investment and State-owned Property Management Qodir Qosim.

During the meeting the whole gamut of bilateral issues between Tajikistan and Moldova were discussed in details. Both sides agreed to further expand economic, educational and scientific cooperation between the two countries.

The participants pointed to the necessity of taking measures to expand a two-way trade between Tajikistan and Moldova.

They also highlighted sectors like agriculture, transportation, health and investment as areas, of which could drive bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

The sides noted that the development of bilateral relations will create favorable conditions to further strengthen trade and economic ties between their countries.
