Tajikistan, KOICA discuss cooperation prospects

Avesta.Tj | 11.06.2015 |Tajik Deputy Foreign Minister Nizomiddin Zohidi met here on Wednesday with Choi Sung Ho, the Vice-President of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Tajikistan’s Foreign Ministry said Thursday.

During the meeting, the sides discussed state and prospects of further expansion cooperation between Tajikistan and the KOICA in fields of economy, trade, investment, energy and health.

They also exchanged views on a number of international and regional issues being of mutual interest.

The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) was established in 1991 by the South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade to enhance the effectiveness of Korea's grant aid programs for developing countries by implementing the government's grant aid.

Diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and Korea were established on April 27, 1992.
