Tajikistan, Azerbaijan sign cooperation agreement to enhance bilateral trade


Avesta.Tj | 06.07.2015 |The Tajik and Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce and Industries (CCI) signed a cooperation agreement that will enhance bilateral trade between the two countries, Tajikistan’s CCI said Monday.

The agreement was signed at a meeting of Sharif Said, the Tajik CCI head with his Azerbaijani counterpart Niyaz Enver Oglu Alizade that was held in Baku, Azerbaijan last week.

The document emphasizes the necessity of expanding bilateral trade and economic cooperation between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan.

The sides also discussed a broad range of issues related to cooperation between their chambers and expansion of the mutually beneficial partnership between the business communities of the two countries.

The sectors like energy, agriculture industry, construction, mining, and tourism, were outlined as areas of which could drive the bilateral trade between the two countries.
