Rahmon, Putin agreed to hold meeting

Avesta.Tj | 06.09.2015 | Tajik President Emomali Rahmon and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation on Saturday.

The Russian president viewed the developments in Tajikistan as an attempt to destabilise the situation and assured Tajikistan's government of Russia's support.
The heads of state agreed to hold a separate meeting on the sidelines of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO) summit due to be held in Tajikistan's capital of Dushanbe later in September.
