Tajikistan and Afghanistan will schedule the export of electricity

According to a source, Tajik and Afghan energy sector will schedule daily amount of electricity. "In addition, the Tajik side will schedule electricity generation, taking into account domestic demand", - said the source.


"In the summer there are problems with consumption rather than production of electricity. Additional electricity generated will be exported to Afghanistan through the 220 kV power transmission line Sangtuda-Puli Khumri. In spring and summer through the line, you can export more than 1 billion kilowatt / hours of electricity, "- said the source.


According to him, exports of electricity to Afghanistan realized at the price of 3.5 cents per kilowatt. "Relevant parties have already signed the papers," - said the source.


"Currently, daily exports of electricity in this country is carried out in a volume of 15 MW", - reported in "Barki Tojik".
