Avesta.Tj | 04.08.2015 |A large amount of narcotics was seized and two Afghan drug traffickers were killed in crossfire that occurred on the Tajik-Afghan border, Tajikistan’s State Committee of National Security(SCNS) said Tuesday.

The SCNS officers warded off an attempt by four Afghan drug traffickers to smuggle a large amount of narcotics into Tajikistan.

"As a result of skirmish, two of trespassers, who were identified as residents of Afghanistan, Abdulsabur waladi Abdulkudus and Zoir waladi Mulloavaz, were killed while two others managed to return to Afghan territory,” the SCNS said.

275 kilograms of hashish were found on the spot.
